TEN DAYS
Wondering what’s going on in Vermont and around the world?  Then you should know about the “Ten Days of Awe,” September 18-28, stretching from Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur in the Hebrew calendar.  “Upper Room” prayer meetings are taking place in cities across the globe, including a gathering in Montpelier, September 18-19, at the statehouse lawn, and another opportunity on Saturday, September 26, 6 p.m. at Lighthouse Christian Church, Montpelier.

Come!  Awaken the dawn as God’s people come together for united prayer and worship with repentance.  Our own Ray Williams from the Church of Milton is helping to host and lead these events.  He can be reached for more information at 802-999-7336.

This Friday, September 18, events will take place from 7 p.m. to midnight and midnight to 9 a.m.  That’s right!  All night as part of the nightwatch.  On Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will meetings at the statehouse once again, followed by a rally for hope and racial reconciliation (baptisms, too!), 1-5 p.m.  And much more worship and prayer.

Check out the details at Facebook.com@atdvermont.  Or, contact Glenn Taylor, Capital City coordinator, at 802-578-1757.

We’ll bring in Ray to tell us more about what transpired later this fall as we pray for the world, our nation, our state, and our town.  Even if you are unable to get to this event in person, you can still spend time praying and/or fasting during the ten days of awe and wonder.  Expect God to hear and answer your prayers with signs and wonders that change history and bring help, healing and hope to our world.
