OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOE BOXES
Thank you for joining us in this mission
Together we created 27 boxes!
We partner with Samaritan’s Purse to help “send the Gospel to the ends of the earth” through their Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Shoebox project.  These gift-filled boxes will be shipped to children in over 100 countries affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease to share God’s love and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

WHERE’S THE TRAILER?
For several years our Men’s Action Ministry led by Alan Chandler and Pastor Jeff was up and running and had a utility trailer to transport materials and tools to different jobsites.  They helped people who had limited resources and needed work done at their home. The trailer now has a new home with Workwright Vermont –led by Pastor Bob Emery.  They will be carrying on the work to help those in need and taking it one step further!  WorkWright Vermont is a self-help organization for troubled teens, young adults, people with disabilities, recovering substance abusers, homeless and others who have hit bottom. Most have been trapped in poverty for several generations.
Their purpose is to help their trainees to be teachers, general contractors, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, mechanics, etc., free of charge. All Workwright asks is that trainees pay it forward through Peer Mentoring.

ANEW PLACE MEALS NEEDED
ANEW Place is excited to announce our expanding partnership with New Moon Café.
Beginning August 1st, New Moon Café will be providing the meals for our
89 North Street location and our Low Barrier Shelter every day except Sundays.
This will be a big change to our Meal Provider Program.
We will be looking for Meal Providers for Sundays only. You can still sign up for Sunday meals here: www.anewplacevt.org/meals

We will also be seeking financial donations for the cost of the meals which boils down to about $2.95/a meal or $200/day. You can donate to the meals program here: https://www.anewplacevt.org/new-moon-cafe-meals.html

We provide approximately 65 meals a day to help our neighbors experiencing homelessness, which totals almost 1700 meals per month. Your continued support will be needed and greatly appreciated.
